The Flavor That Kills (TFTK) released their album “Book of Secrits” (purposely misspelled) in 2024 on Shortwave Records in all digital formats. This will be the third release from the band and first with additional guitarist Educational Davis. The band has moved from a four piece with a Rhodes Piano to a standard 2 guitar/bass/drum lineup. The album was engineered and mixed by Beau Sorenson (Bob Mould, Superchunck, Death Cab for Cutie) and recorded at Madison, Wisconsin’s own Coney Island Studios. “Book of Secrits” captures the live bravado and swagger of the band. The vinyl album has original artwork by Claire Kellesvig and a genuine secret inside that could lead to treasure for those who figure it out. Fans of Electric Six, The Killers, The Black Keys, and Butthole Surfers will enjoy the soul punk and psychotic rock vide of the album. It's a concept album about the origin of aliens and human civilization.
