The Erotics Deliver A Massive Hard Rock Album

In album release from The Erotics delivers a classic rock infusion with this sort of gritty undertone that combines elements of punk rock, garage rock, and driving hard rock all in one record but, the record also gives off a robust and vibrant character and that's something that you actually get attached to super quickly.

Some of the songs off the Destined to Damnation album give off these sorts of sludgy guitar tones and classic metal riffs that feel both nostalgic and driving but it also comes down to the energy that these guys give during their performances on The Record.

These songs are super heavy at times and other times they're just kind of thrashing out in a dirty punk rock style but either way you get this energy that's completely electric to the point where it feels like some of these songs were recorded live on the floor and everyone involves is just feeding off of each other the entire time.

So because of that, you get this really high octane and sort of blistering tonality and energy that never really leaves and this packs a hell of a punch.

I really love these classic influences that you can hear coming through on a normal basis because you get hints of this great sort of Motorhead era of rock that is just pulsing through the veins of this record and I love it because it makes me feel a little bit nostalgic at times but I think what I really like about this is their genuine approach to it all.

This whole album seems like it serves as a love letter to the bands that influence them and now, they're here just destroying everything and thrashing out with Fists in the air and an endless energy that lets the whole record just hit you like a sucker punch to the gut.

The guitar work is outstanding and it's matched by everyone else in the band as well. The vocals are just belting and gritty, they deliver memorable choruses and hooks with balls. The drums are smashing, all the instruments feel like they complement each other.

These guys are not only a well-oiled machine who have probably been doing this for quite a long time, but you can tell they have a real love for their craft and when I say that I don't just mean playing your instruments or singing, I mean writing songs together to put them out into the world so everyone can rock out with them.

These are head banging singalong section make you want to jump around the living room, and I feel like that's just something that I missed for a long time.

This Record was totally refreshing, and these guys were able to bring elements of all different kinds of classic Hard Rock and metal into their release and they do it with a gusto and this charisma that really lets the whole record wrap itself around you and keep you right where it wants to.

I grew up listening to all kinds of metal and hard rock and these guys really hit this classic aesthetic so well that it's crazy.

Half of these songs feel like something that I was listening to on the radio decades ago and I definitely adore that aspect.

This is one of those records that you want to listen to as a whole because listening to only one or two tracks will give you a little bit of a gist but it won't give you the full spectrum of what the album actually has to offer.

Dive into this record as soon as you can and do not be afraid to turn it up because the louder it goes the better it sounds.

Remember where you heard it first.
