Johan Huumo is currently making waves on the live scene, starring in The Rocky Horror Show. The production premiered just a few weeks ago to sold-out audience, and due to the overwhelming responses, the run has now been extended. Through his collaboration with songwriter Fredrik Kellerman, Johan Huumo has carved out his own sound and artistic identity. With melody-driven songwriting and storytelling at the core, Johan delivers a modern pop expression. In the spring of 2025, Johan released “Hear Me Out”, a track that quickly gained traction with both listeners and radio stations. The song has been streamed widely on Spotify and picked up on dance floors across Belgium, the UK, Spain, Italy and Mexico. It was also featured on the compilation Summer Pop: New Hits 2025 and Modern Restaurant Music Mix, together surpassing 51 K streams. He followed up with the warm and hopeful “Waving Goodbye”, further showcasing his emotional depth and strong melodic sense. In summer 2025, Johan Huumo joined singer Laila Adèle for a summer concert at the Pildammsteatern in Malmö. The atmospheric event was a great success, drawing over 2,000 spectators. On November 21, Johan returns with the dance-driven synth-pop single “Hard to Fight” – an energetic track that combines catchy hooks with his signature cinematic sound. Meanwhile, he continues working intensively in the studio on new material set to be released in 2026.
