David O'Leary

This is my first experiment with using Generative AI. I wrote all the music, lyrics, melodies and arrangements. The guitar solos are played by Bruce Bouilett (Racer X) and the drums by Mike Vanderhule (Y&T). I played Bass, Rhythm Guitars and keyboards. All analog and very human! The vocals are synthetic and generated with Suno AI. The vocals took me two days to craft and cut and paste in order to try and get them to sound the way I wanted, which ironically was to try and make them sound human like. Irrespective of the synthetic nature, I think its a song about the anxiety all artists feel when creating new works, trying new things and the fear we have of rejection that often sabotages creativity.
