Criminal Hero

Criminal Hero is a hard rock project built on rhythm and lift, using classic song structure and blending rock economy with modern alternative clarity, with moments of punk urgency. Raised in Toronto and influenced by seventies rock and punk, the project took shape while living in Detroit, where time spent in small venues and among musicians who had played the same bars for decades encouraged a return to the guitar and led to the writing and recording of the album. The recordings were later mastered by a Grammy nominated engineer, and the project’s final form and identity came together in Vancouver. The project carries the spirit of all three cities.
