An Emotionally Bound Single from Jay Putty

A beautiful new single from Jay Putty delivers such a warm and incredibly inviting atmosphere that drifts and dreams, as it portrays things that the heart desires and does all of this with a sort of spacious and almost cinematically thriving tonality.

"Lost In You" is pretty straightforward lyrically. It's about love. As the title suggests, it's about getting lost in someone. Getting lost in everything about them. It's a sentiment that a lot of us can relate to because a lot of us have been there before. Pure infatuation or falling in love.

I definitely love the way he describes how he's feeling, and he puts himself out there in such a vulnerable manner that it's almost freeing just to even listen to it.

There's something very theatrical about this song. It doesn't explode into any kind of high-energy segments. It stays in this sort of natural flow, giving it an almost calming sense of peace.

This, of course, also comes from the synth pads that are used throughout the track, along with the piano. The music and its instrumentation is very subtle, delicate, and again, have this beautiful flow.

The whole song comes through in a very elegant manner. Even Jay's vocals feel almost like an instrument themselves. He has an impactful voice, and the way he performs the song is perfect in terms of its energy and passion.

This is definitely a song that you can hear in a film. It's got all the emotional push that you can ask for from a cinematic ballad like this one.

You can hear these pop elements coming in with certain kinds of backing vocals that he throws in there. There are vocal sections that are sort of drenched in reverb effect and put at a distance so that you can hear a bit of depth when it comes to the soundscape of it all.

This was done with a very smart approach because those vocal sections have this pop overtone to them. It's the melodies and the way that he performs those backing vocals that give it that pop sensibility.

I think the song needs those. They were thrown in perfectly, at just the right times, and gave everything a little bit of layers.

It's amazing how a song that sticks to a bit of a simpler format in terms of its instruments and how it comes across can be this impactful.

It proves you don't need a lot. It proves that if he were to perform the song in front of you right now, just his voice on a piano, it would still be impactful.

There's a certain way this song hits that's emotional.

When we listen to a song like this, we can't help but, at times, have memories of our own pop into our heads. We take songs like this, and we think of our person, our love, our light.

I think that's important. It feels like that's what it's really all about. This is one of those songs that he wrote for himself, but when you listen to it, you feel like it was written just for you, especially if you're infatuated or in love.

It all falls together perfectly and makes a lot of sense to someone who's listening to the song.

That vulnerability element is really important as well. He's opening up and not really holding a lot back, so you can tell he's not afraid. He's unafraid to give pieces of himself in his music.

Creating music like this is probably what he needs to get things off his chest or say what he really wants to say.

This is a beautiful form of artistry, and it's done in such a gracefully performed manner that you really just can't turn away from it.

This is certainly a song that comes straight from the heart, and it goes through a few different emotions, but you'll pick up on that as you listen.

Definitely check this one out as soon as you can because it's more than worth your time.

Remember where you heard it first.
