AHM Release "The Ash Of Sermon"

åhm returns with a massive and immersive new single titled “The Ash of Sermon,” and from the moment it begins, we’re pulled into something that feels both punishing and expansive. The band leans into a heavy, hardcore backbone while weaving in progressive rock sensibilities and a slow-burning, almost doom-like atmosphere. As we move through the track, it becomes clear that this isn’t just about weight but depth, space, and the way sound can completely surround us.

Clocking in at over seven minutes, the song gives itself plenty of room to breathe, evolve, and transform. We’re carried through waves of crushing guitar work that feel relentless at times, only to be guided into softer, more atmospheric passages that seem to stretch endlessly outward. This push and pull creates a dynamic listening experience, moving with it as it shifts from brutality to introspection and back again.

What makes “The Ash of Sermon” stand out is how naturally it all comes together. We can feel the band’s ability to construct something that feels huge without ever losing its emotional core. It’s a track that doesn’t rush, doesn’t compromise, and instead trusts us to take the journey alongside them. In doing so, åhm delivers a single that feels bold, immersive, and undeniably powerful.
