A Fresh Single from Samm Musick

A new single release from Samm Musick delivers an incredibly danceable and colorful vibe and tonality in the form of a pop single that blends classic, almost '80s-style approaches with fresh ones and brings in elements of funk and inventive instrumentation to brighten the song up.

"Be The One" is such a warm track. The sentiment is awesome and relatable to many, it feels good, and the whole song brings with it a spirited approach and performance that just sticks with you.

One of the things I love about this track is how vibrant it is. 

The energy level is super balanced. It's got a perfect energy to it so again, that color and vibrancy come through very well but, it's all balanced and not super over the top so there is this almost contemporary flow going on too.

The song definitely had a lot of attention to detail paid during its creation and arrangement. The composition of this track works amazingly and you can hear a slew of those vintage influences in pop coming through in different parts of the song.

You have a sort of disco-pop vibe. The beat is very four on the floor and the guitars follow suit in terms of bringing the shiny, disco aesthetic. This works wonders for the track as well because it feeds into that energy and brightness.

The vocals come through with some great harmonies and memorable hooks with a chorus that bounces around in your brain for days after the song has ended.

This is a track that brings together some inventive elements and one of those is having a saxophone section. There's a sax solo in the middle of the track and it is perfect because that also adds to some of the old-school and vintage '80s pop and contemporary aesthetics that the song is going for.

The whole thing is a natural and very forward-moving flow, and when you're done with it you feel good.

This is a very enjoyable track that becomes infectious super quickly. I love the guitar work, which is part of what also brings some of the funk undertone and that rhythm that really is driving but again, not really over the top. There is a subtlety to this track that keeps it in a contemporary sort of pop field.

The song has a very vivacious approach and the entire thing is oozing with personality.

This is a radio-pop single. You can't listen to this song without moving. This is a song that makes you want to get up and dance. If you're driving in your car, you'll be shaking your butt in your seat. If you're at home, just move the couch back so you can dance around the living room.

I love songs like this because again, they bring so much color and energy to the table that you get addicted. It gets into your bloodstream and that energy becomes yours.

This is one of the best songs to listen to first thing in the morning because it just sets an amazing tone for the day.

Upon listening to this track I took a bit of a deep dive into the artists back catalog and I'm certainly glad I did because, this single is just part of a great set of releases including an album from last year that stretches 18 songs in length and showcases a number of different sides to the artist's personality, influences, and songwriting.

The album is called Land of Dreams and has everything from pop rock to Americana and plenty more all rolled into one great record.

It just goes to show you, Samm Musick is an artist and creator who gives you a little bit of the unexpected. You don't know what exactly to expect from him next but it's going to be drenched in personality and character, and it's going to have something that you can attach yourself to.

A lot of this stuff is pretty connective and I love that about the artist and the releases.
