A new single from Bikini Drone delivers this refreshing and breezy indie pop approach that blends natural and digital instrumentation and creates this vast undertone and an atmosphere that comes through colorful and with this wonderfully forward-moving flow that sends you adrift with the song itself.
"All For One And One For All" is the type of single that has a strange way of wrapping itself around you with layers of melodies and textures that melt together and create this lush feel.
One of my favorite aspects about this track as a whole, is how they are seamlessly bending genres at free will and I think what comes through is this bright pop-oriented track that boasts tons of these little hooks that manage to stick around in your brain for hours after the song is ended and the only way to satiate that is to listen to the song again which is in my opinion, smart songwriting, however, I think it just comes to these guys naturally.
This is the type of track that shows a lot of youthful undertones but comes through with a lot of attention to detail and this fun feel that becomes quickly addictive.
It's like blending indie pop, dream pop, synthwave, vintage pop, and so much more all rolled into one track and this is something that you end up getting engulfed in.
I love the meshing of the sense with the guitars and all the vocals because certain parts of the vocals are just used as background notes as if their instruments themselves, but this really also lends a hand to this classic undertone as if some of these guys were influenced by classic rock in general.
I think that's part of why this comes through so well. You can hear a handful of influences in one track and maybe this comes from the different band members bringing their own thing to the table.
Either way, you can tell that everyone is having an absolute blast, and this is coming from a band that has a pure love for their craft, and when I say that I don't mean just playing their instruments or singing, I mean creating songs together to put out there into the world so everyone can get together and dance.
This is indeed an incredibly danceable track and the rhythm of it all gets your body moving.
The percussion is outstanding throughout the whole thing.
This single feels great to listen to and hits with a certain kind of charisma and vivaciousness that seems to come through subtly.
The energy on the track almost feels like a live performance as if these guys recorded the track live on the floor because it's almost like everyone's feeding off of each other the whole time through.
Even if I'm wrong about the whole live on the floor thing, listening to this track makes you want to go see them perform it live either way simply because if that kind of energy is captured on a recording so well then seeing it live must just be awesome.
This was a robust and charismatic single that delivers a great persona and deep grooved vibes that you automatically attach yourself to right from the get-go and it never lets up.
I would suggest listening to the track with headphones because it's one of the best ways to soak it in; however, it's probably also fun to listen to it nice and loud in your living room so that you can dance around.
This song certainly speaks volumes for the group and I can't wait to hear more.
