With a profound interest in all aspects of how to make a tune, Sondre Thomassen Thorvik (born 2002) combines his dark voice with guitar, drums and bass to build his own musical path from scratch to finished product. Sondre's main project called Raging Lines delivers dark indie rock and new wave, while the first single from 2022 leaned more towards post-punk ("Too Dramatic, Too Paralyzed"). Editor Egon Holstad compared his voice with Michael Gira's, Swans, in Raging Lines' "You Stay Away". Thomassen Thorvik works for Ultima Contemporary Music Festival and Newtone Studio as a freelance sound engineer and music producer, and had 12 weeks practice at both places through his university.
