Red Project is a Montreal‑based duo blending modern rock with dark atmospheres and raw emotion. Our new single Retreat comes out on July 8th. The song explores that moment when you’re faced with something bigger than yourself, and stepping back becomes a way to survive. The track was born from a showcase launched by influencer Josué Cadieux on TikTok, where he shared a one‑minute beat recorded on his phone in the middle of nature, along with a few whistled notes as melodic hints. We decided to take that raw material further and turn it into a full song, reconnecting with a bank of lyrics written during adolescence. We’re also releasing an AI‑assisted music video on the same day, built around a dark, intense visual universe that reflects the identity of the duo.
