A Vulnerable New Single from Crash World

A beautifully theatrical style release from Crash World delivers such an honest testament to personal struggle that it's hard to turn away from. The song delves pretty deep from a very personal perspective, and it's this kind of robust honesty that gives it as much character and personality as it actually has.

The song itself feels sort of sad, and its melodies are also lush and sort of colorful in their performances and textures.

You can tell this is a song that was influenced by a lot of different kinds of classic rock, but again, it also has this theatrical or even cinematic sensation behind it that really lets it feel alive and breathing.

"Promise" definitely speaks volumes for the people behind it, simply because it takes some guts to be this vulnerable. There's a lot of inner thought that comes spilling out for all to soak in, and this is really important because it does indeed show personality.

Now, a lot of people can take it differently. Every listener might interpret the song in a different sense, but I think the sentiment behind it is pretty strong.

A lot of us go through different kinds of struggles in life. Whether it's outside or within ourselves.

Hearing a song like this is actually kind of beautiful because it lets us remember we're not alone, and sometimes we need to be reminded of that.

The way the lyrics are constructed is so straightforward at times. They're so detailed or descriptive that certain parts of the song let you paint pictures in your head vividly as it unfolds.

I really enjoyed this aspect too because it helps push that sentiment even further. It's a very poetic track, to me.

The song is pretty lush right from the start, coming in with acoustic guitars and classic keys that let you pay closer attention to the lyrics in the beginning.

As the song plays through, it becomes bigger, more textures come into play, full percussion comes in, and everything becomes more sort of full throttle.

Some amazing piano sections helped drive the song forward and add more melodies and texture to it.

I think that's part of why it has the impact it does. This song displays a lot of layers of texture and depth to go along with the depth of the lyrics themselves, and I feel like the instrumentation and progressions of the song really do an amazing job of setting the mood for those lyrics perfectly.

You have some really cool, almost gospel-style backing vocals that come in and out, some clean guitar lead work that adds extra flavor and soul, and it all comes together like puzzle pieces.

It is indeed a very soulful song; it has elements of classic rock, contemporary, indie rock, folk, and plenty more, all rolled into one track that really sort of thrives in the sense that it has a beautiful and sort of graceful aesthetic that speaks truths so clearly and boldly that it leaves a mark.

Being able to create a song that speaks volumes for people going through struggle and the people that surround them is sort of an intense process, and I'm sure this was intense for the band but they really pulled it together and in terms of creating something that has its own atmosphere, and once you're in this atmosphere you don't really want to leave.

This was a heartfelt single with vocals performed amazingly. The singing across this track really displayed a lot of the character and emotion behind it, and although the song is about struggle, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, and the tonalities of this song are completely warm.

Yes, there is a bit of darkness, because that's what it's about. Everyone you meet is going through something; they may not talk about it, they may not say it, but we're all going through some kind of personal or external situation or struggle.

Again, sometimes it takes a song like this to remind us that we're not alone, or that it's going to be okay.

I said it before, but I'll say it one more time: the way that I'm describing the song is how I interpreted it.

The next listener may soak it in in a different manner. It may have a different meaning for someone else. And that's okay, that's the beauty of music.

However, I think if you listen to this track, especially with headphones on, you will be able to really take in the messaging properly

I also suggest listening with headphones simply because all of those layers and textures come through beautifully when you have those right in your ears.

This is a song that has a wonderful way of putting you there in the moment with it, so I don't suggest you miss out on that.

Take a deep dive into this one and remember where you heard it first.
