A Southern Rock Soiree from Wolfgressive

A single release from Wolfgressive comes through with a lively and rambunctious honkytonk rock and guitar-driven soundscape and it does so with such a robust and colorful approach but still balances that edginess in there throughout its course so, you have a song that you can get up and dance to, sing along with, or just feel those powerful vibes right from the start.

There's definitely something electric about "Online Dating" and I think it has to do a lot with the performances given on this track because the energy levels all match so well that it feels like the whole thing was just recorded live on the floor somehow and that to me is an amazing factor.

The vocals match that soulful guitar and they both have such animated and intense but very enjoyable and bright approaches that these are the two elements that really drive the song so that it hits this amazing aesthetic.

The guitar work on this track is just killer and there's an amazing solo section in there that just showcases how to lay out a guitar track with an impact, fun, and vibrancy.

This is all what makes this track so special. Everything about it is alive and breathing. It feels like you just saw the band play live in front of you after you've listened to the track.

It's more of an experience than just a track but it feels great to listen to, shows tons of that southern kissed soul, the guitar tones have an edge to them but also that great classic twang as well, and everything about this just has a perfectly forward moving flow with a lush soundscape and an energy that lets everything pack a punch.

And that's what you want from a song like this. You want to have something that has a liveliness to it. Something that's got color and just bursts out so that you are infected by that energy and that charisma. This track bears all of that and more because it's got a charm to it, and it's got this genuine southern underbelly that makes the track attitude.

This track was endlessly fun and showcases a collaboration that works amazingly between artists and performers that know exactly how to put together a track while all being on the same page.

This is an easy song to get up and dance to and honestly, it's hard not to move to this track. It doesn't have a standard groove, again, it's got that southern-rock and Americana approach, so it jams, it swings, and it rocks.

Upon listening to this track, I took a little bit of a deep dive into the band's back catalog and I'm certainly glad that I did because I came across many outstanding single releases that each show a little bit of a different side of the project and how it works.

These songs all have that same vivaciousness, but they seem to take a little bit of a different approach while still staying confluent to that rock backbone that serves as the band's staple.

This is definitely the kind of band that you want to go see live because if you listen to these songs, you'll be amazed at the energy level that's captured on record. If that kind of energy is captured on record, then seeing them live must be amazing.

This group has that classic rock and roll drive that really puts them on the forefront of blending classic, arena rock with southern tonalities and a slew of other genres and influences that get incorporated throughout their catalog.

I highly suggest listening to the rest of their tracks after hearing this one because if you like this track, you're going to like a lot of the others.

Check this out as soon as you can and turn it nice and loud because everything just sounds better that way.

You can soak in all that rock soul.

Remember where you heard it first.
