A Heartbreak Single from Anthony Levone Hits Hard

A new single release from Anthony Levone delivers a pretty brutal honesty, and in doing so, you get this heavy dose of personality, which is brilliant because you end up connecting with the lyrics of the song and its sentiment almost right from the beginning.

This is a single that showcases heartbreak. It's about missing someone to the point of despair, in a sense. Missing the aspects about that person that you leaned on and how they were your rock, but now they're gone.

It's a sense of it that's all too relatable, and anyone of a certain ages pretty much been through it.

This is one of the reasons you connect with the track so well. The other is because of the way the artist articulates his lyrics. He really paints the picture and gives you a little background on the relationship, along with describing how sullen and empty he feels without that person.

It's a very detailed track in terms of the lyrics, and the way that he sets up his lyrical phrasing is awesome, simply because not only did they bounce firmly between the beats, but he squeezes extra stuff in certain lines so that he can get more of the point across.

There's no two ways about it, this is a track that speaks volumes for the artist, and does so by delivering all of that character in one shot.

This is a hip-hop track that feeds off classic vibes. There's something about it that feels a little bit old school, and I really enjoyed that. The beat has a cool summer brightness to it, which works amazingly with the lyrics as they are sort of opposites.

He also comes through with amazing energy.

Although it's a sad song about missing someone, he's got this particular way of performing that lights the song up.

This is definitely a track that feels current, while still blending some old-school approaches and aesthetics. I love that combination.

The chorus is melodic, giving a bit of R&B flow and singing great Melodies that are very catchy, so that the hook bounces around in your brain for hours or even days after the song has ended.

Features Fooly23, who really helps bring that flow to life.

This track is completely genuine. It definitely comes from some real place, and that makes it all the more authentic.

Anthony doesn't hold a lot back. There are no walls built around this track, so it is very emotionally charged.

The track is vulnerable, but I find that brave

It actually feels like it may have been cathartic for the artist to write and release.

It certainly seems like he needed to get a lot off his chest, and he utilizes his music as a way to do that.

That's a sign of true artistry. Being able to express the things that you need to without holding much back, no matter what the emotion is.

Anthony grabs that element and rolls with it extremely well.

The song is robust, has fresh production, and it's got a great sort of shine and polish to it that doesn't take away from the raw energy and emotion of it, but instead, helps you pay more attention to it.

To me, this was very radio-friendly.

I think a lot of people out there are looking for hip hop of this nature. Rap songs that bend genres ever so slightly, and breed such a unique honesty and vulnerability that you can't turn away from it.

The song is called "Tears for You".

Now, if this is your first go with Anthony Levone's music, then I would suggest this to be more of an introduction than anything else.

Hello, in my opinion, it's one of his best songs yet. He has a handful of other single releases that are outstanding, each showcasing a little bit of a different side to that personality.

You can clearly hear a slew of influences in his music, especially if you listen to those previous releases as well, and it all gets really in-depth.

Anthony's an artist who certainly has layers and is unafraid to put those on the forefront.

This song is a perfect example of someone who creates music and gives you a lot of inner thought that comes spilling out for everyone to soak in.

This track will absolutely stick with you, and if you're into either car or classic hip-hop styles, it's absolutely for you.

Take a deep dive into this track right now and remember where you heard it first.
