A New Country-Rock Single from D'Lee

D'Lee has a particular way of never letting us down with her wonderfully character-driven music, and her latest single speaks volumes for her as an artist and just how she always speaks her mind when she releases her songs.

"A Gentleman" gives us a driving country rock soundscape and does so with all of this charm and personality attached to it, which is a normal thing for D'Lee.

One of her biggest staples is dropping songs that have very few walls built around them, but also give you a glimpse of who she is as a person.

This one focuses more on what she expects from a true gentleman. I think a lot of people can relate to this.

It's a song that gets into some pretty good detail in terms of what a true gentleman does to make his partner feel loved, warm, and wanted.

Doing the little things goes a long way sometimes, and this is a track about the man who does those little things just to brighten up her day.

We guys should be paying attention to songs like this simply because it's giving us the playbook.

We need songs like this to give us a little direction, and even for those of us like myself, who do think of those things, sometimes you get too busy or you forget. That doesn't help much.

This song is like a reminder. I want to go get my wife some flowers after listening to this track.

So, it's safe to say the song works its magic pretty well.

In true D'Lee fashion, this brings together some of the best elements of both rock and country with great tonality, southern swagger, loads of heart, and a good rock backbone that gives you a bigger and more sonically robust style chorus.

I love the way the song feels during the verses and how it goes into those choruses because it's got a great rhythm to it, the classic sort of country approach that it's based on.

This is another thing that D'Lee does incredibly well. She blends elements of classic or vintage style songwriting with very new ones, and although you may feel like those two might clash, she puts them together and creates something seamless.

The track features some stomps and claps, which are put in just the right place, and her vocals just hit with this harmonious brightness a lot of the time.

It's quite a brilliant approach and something that seems to let her music showcase her presence as an artist.

Again, this is certainly a track you can grab your partner and dance around the living room to. It's got a little bit of Swing, that southern undertone, and a great blend of clean or acoustic, and rock guitars. It's that rhythm that really gets you.

During those choruses, she has a few layers of vocals that are so smooth in a way. They're just Flawless to the point where even all those harmonies feel like they were almost effortless for her to track.

Of course, it's just people like me who think about things like that. I always wonder about how someone creates a song like this or how it goes from a thought to fruition.

That's why artists like this sort of blow my mind in a way.

D'Lee releases these radio-friendly singles that are robust, bountiful, character-soaked, honest, and very personable. What gets me is that she drops these all the time.

It makes me wonder how an artist can release so much music and have it all be on this level.

At any rate, this is a song to hear. You don't want to miss it, especially if you're a lover of Americana country, country rock, we're just music that feels good to listen to, makes sense, and has heart and personality.

It's all there for you.

D'Lee delivers plenty of it, and if you're not the most familiar with her stuff, I would absolutely suggest checking out her other releases, including the last three that were dropped earlier this year.

Every time she releases a song, she's showing a different approach but always being herself.

That's why I love artists that you start getting into, and by the time you get a new track, you kind of know what you're in for. You don't know exactly, but you know it's going to be good. To an extent, you know what to expect.

D'Lee is an artist I've been following since her first release of this year and have not been let down a single time.

This is music for just about everybody, if you ask me.

Check this new single out and then check out the previous three singles released, which you can do on her Spotify.

She's actually got a great little catalog of outstanding songs starting from just last year.

This is an artist to keep your eye out for, and for people who love real country music or country rock, you're going to love this.

Check this out, turn it up, and remember where you heard it first.
