A Future Zoo Remix from Xarms

ree

A new single release from Xarms comes through as a remix of a track called "Blue Room", originally by Future Zoo, and this was an outstanding production because this rendition and revision of the song is quite impactful by way of creating this deepening atmosphere that feels vast and it's undertone and very cinematic at the same time, while remaining true to the original in many areas.

This track has a slow build to it and I like that. This sort of slow-burning aspect really gets you engulfed in the aesthetic that it's delivering. As the song unfolds, you start getting deeper and deeper into the spacious soundscape that it boasts, and you start hearing since and keys develop, grow stronger, dig deeper, and at the same time, the vocals come in and bring a different texture to everything.

The song starts off being very vast, as I mentioned, and then at a certain point it kicks in with a heavier-handed synth and a more driving beat, so it gets a little bit explosive at that point.

Throughout it all, you never lose sight of that expansive underbelly. There's a lot of synth pads that take you along for this floating and dreamy aesthetic and this brings to mind certain elements of classic house.

It's very experimental in the way of the synth and key tones. You can tell there was a lot of attention paid to the tones of those instruments and how the producer wanted to expand the song outward and make it feel like you're getting swallowed up by this otherworldly element.

The deeper into the track you go, the more intense things seem to feel. It is definitely something that you swim through.

There are layers of gorgeous textures that build up on top of each other, and it does have a welcoming sense to it, but it also has a slight edginess. Much of this comes from certain synthesizers when the harder-hitting sections come in, but also how Xarms was able to really layer on those synthesizers to create these thick walls of sonic presence.

The beat of this truck is very unique because it also has different levels of intensity as the song plays through. It goes right alongside the synthesizers and the keys, and how the vocals mess with everything is incredible.

That's kind of one of the coolest things about this. It feels like it was built around those vocal sections so that whatever was created surrounding those melodies made perfect sense.

Either way, there was definitely an aesthetic that was meant to be built here, and it was very well done because you have this sort of natural and forward-moving flow that does indeed blend a certain edginess with vastness and cinematic feel and approach.

This is one of those songs that you listen to with headphones on so that you can really soak in all of these amazing layers that are happening.

It is very easy to get engulfed in this, and it feels good to do exactly that.

I feel like that's what this was meant for. To just let yourself go, and when you do, you feel about as free as the song does.

There's an ethereal, dreamy, and classic undertone to a lot of this single, and it all works smoothly and seamlessly.

Definitely take a deep dive into this track as soon as you can because there was a lot put into it, and you can hear that attention to detail and the song itself, along with its arrangement and how it was built outward around those vocals.

There is also something slightly elegant about how a place goes through and how those chunks of gigantic sonic drive come in and out, bringing the waves of intensity that it does.

This was a gorgeous single and produced with love.

Listen to this one and again, do it with headphones on.

Remember where you heard it first.
