Xurxo Mares

I was born in A Coruña, Spain, in 1950. At RESAD in Madrid, I studied Acting (1971/74). I studied solfeggio, harmony, singing, choral ensemble, guitar, piano, cello, and saxophone, as well as music history, at the Conservatory of A Coruña. I have released 5 albums and I'm working on my fourth book. I have made around 200 songs, worked in radio (Antena 3 de Galicia 1983/84), advertising, dubbing, theater, film (both feature and short), television, and series. In 2014, I celebrated my 50th anniversary in music.
