Velev Ki

Velev Ki is a five-piece modern metalcore band based in Istanbul, Turkey, a band that refuses to stand still. Originally stepping onto the scene with a nu-metal/nu-core album released via 3 Adım Müzik in 2019, their early work fused old-school rap flows with heavy, groovy guitars. But that was just the beginning. After a major lineup shift, Velev Ki reinvented themselves, both musically and philosophically. Their first release under this renewed identity, “En Baştan Başlat,” released through Balyoz Müzik, marked a turning point: a farewell to the past, and a statement of intent. Their latest single “Angel Wings”, dropped on August 8th, is the first taste of what’s to come: an emotionally charged, technically precise dive into the modern metalcore space. It also sets the stage for their upcoming full-length record, “Sinking Deeper.” With this release, Velev Ki isn’t just aiming to break new ground in Turkey, they’re carving a path to the international stage, driven by raw emotion, conceptual depth, and a relentless hunger to evolve.
