A new single release from Title Rave brings out a fresh and colorful combination of hyper electro-pop and punk-rock with blistering and vivacious synths and keys along with heavy guitar tones that blend the two genres together seamlessly and give off this bountiful soundscape that's packed to the brim with personality.
"Run" is the track that certainly doesn't let down in terms of energy, especially. This is a high-octane track that feels, again, like a bit of hyper-pop, and that electronic infusion with the rock guitars really makes for something special.
Most of the time, when you hear an electronically infused rock single, the guitars and more rock aspects of the track are at the forefront. This is a little different. The synths and the keys are balanced out with those guitars in volume so they play a major part in the track, and they don't just come in in a few sections. They're evident throughout the track and help drive that energy through the roof.
This is all part of what makes this track unique. Its approach is leaning on the synths to drive the track while the guitars, while not taking a back seat, are not the only prominent instrument.
I love how they put this together because that energy and spirited approach is completely infectious right from the start.
There are a few different tones in terms of those synths, and the guitars do deliver a balance between alternative rock and pop punk if you ask me, but it all depends on who's listening.
This is a driving single with an insanely danceable infusion of genres that are bent at free will. It creates a song that is built and put together with many fewer boundaries than whatever you may be used to.
I think that crossing genres is brilliant, especially the way that they do it, and this is also where the future of music is headed.
These guys have a sound that isn't exactly reinventing the wheel, but it is doing something refreshing and new while keeping true to the genres that influenced them in the first place.
The vocals boast a little emotional backbone at times, but really keep that energy to the same level as the music, which is really hard to do because the music, again, has this crazy, almost rambunctious energy to it.
The whole track is absolutely wild but it's so vibrant, colorful, addicting, fun, charismatic, and portrays the likes of a band who have a love for their craft.
When I say that, I don't just mean playing their instruments or singing, I mean writing songs together that are creating something new and refreshing.
This is a track that's right in your face the entire time so you can't turn away from it.
The guitars are awesome and when they're not pushing chords behind those synths and vocals, they're pulling off these great, catchy riffs that still bear a heaviness to them.
This is a single that you listen to loudly. There's just no other way to do it.
They certainly don't waste any time delivering that impact right from the get-go, which pulls you into their world.
When it's over, you realize you've listened to something that has its own atmosphere. You have to almost snap yourself back into reality when it's all done over.
Something about this single hits like whiplash. Of course, as I mentioned before, that energy is really a big part of it but it also is the kind of song where there was a lot of attention paid to the details of it when it was created but never loses the heart or spirit that it starts with in the first place which may be the most important aspect of the entire thing.
The track also gives off a kind of summertime vibe to me. I think it's that hands in the air wildness that gives me that feeling.
This was an immense single that really stands tall and showcases a band that writes songs with no walls built around them, which is something others should be looking towards.
This is a song not bound by genres and has this wonderfully freeing feel while still having that element of heaviness and pop overcoat all at the same time.
Most certainly check this truck out as soon as you can, and you can hear for yourself.
Remember where you heard it first.
