Theandria

Theandria is the philosophical concept of "becoming God" or "becoming Divine" as it was introduced in Russian and German works of Bulgakov, Solovyev and Baader. Later in the books of Bela Hamvas, one of the greatest Hungarian writers, the idea re-emerges in the commentary of the Emerald Tablet or Tabula Smaragdina. Music is a method of theandria, since we can experience unity with the divine and with God through the creation of music. So, my journey begun in the 90's in Budapest, Hungary where I joined the band Scivias and played acoustic guitars. The neofolk, dark classical, military-martial styles were a bustling scene, especially in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe. With my relocation to Canada, I had to experience the cultural shock and consequent changes in the taste of music. Vancouver had an exciting scene in electronic music and I was inspired by the psychedelic music community and efforts to keep a music and dance scene alive and interesting. It is in Nova Scotia now where I found my world in experimental electronica, trance, ambient but also integrating disco, techno, funk and dub into my works. Music has become complex yet valid opportunity for me to exercise the freedom of creation - so I set my sail and see where the winds take me, come and let's have this journey together. :)
