Taylor Janney-Rovin

Taylor Janney-Rovin is a NYC-based singer-songwriter who blends her country roots with a Broadway belt in order to make her own kind of music. After a vocal cord injury in college left her terrified of singing, Taylor set aside her passion for performing and hid her talent for nearly a decade while working as a middle school English teacher. But as she encouraged her students to take risks and follow their dreams, she realized it was finally time to learn from her own lessons. With a flair for the dramatic and a whole lot of moxie, Taylor brings a big voice and an even bigger heart to her music. Drawing from her own unconventional journey of growth and self-discovery, she sings in celebration of her unique individuality and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
