Scott Bentley

Scott Bentley is a singer-songwriter based in California's Central San Joaquin Valley. His vocal influences include James Taylor, Phil Collins and Michael McDonald. His expressive songwriting is forged out of a lifetime of experiences. Roadie Music describes how "Bentley's distinctive voice… intensifies the emotion of the music, enveloping the sounds in it's narrative… his star promises to captivate listeners with his authenticity and ability to convey emotion through music." Bentley's artistry was put on hold for many years, while his dedication as both a single father and a psychotherapist took priority. At age 55 he realized that if he was to continue to create and share his music, he must retire from his first career and turn more fully to his art. Proving that artistry has no time limit, Scott released his debut single “Maggie” on May 3, 2024. Bentley's songs are a reflection of his life experiences and his continued exploration of what makes us tick as human beings. They are a vehicle to connect more strongly with the people and the world around him. Guided by an understanding of our fundamental need to find a place we feel we truly belong, it is through his music that Bentley is still seeking to find such a place.
