Robert Kleeman
I'm a drummer, singer, and songwriter from Houston, TX. A 26-day hospital stay last fall inspired me to end my musical dormancy. I recorded the vocals, and in many cases, the drums, of the songs I have released on Spotify at Studio 713. I'm still the kid at heart watching Phil Collins run around The Summit stage to deliver an athletic drum solo. I knew, in that moment, I wanted to do what he was doing. I write and sing about mental health, the country's descent into fascism, and anything else that matters to me. My lyrics, melodies, and riffs are mine. Music has kept me alive, and I hope my music will someday inspire others to keep living. The multiplicity of my Spotify catalog reflects the myriad artists who shaped me as a human being. I am entering my 14th year of public education but dream of making music my full-time career.
