Born and raised in Tiblisi, Nini Iris grew up in a household that enjoyed listening to only traditional Georgian folk music. Just from singing around the house and at school parties, Nini's parents already could tell that music was running through her veins. Nini auditioned and competed in the 24th season of The Voice. In the blind auditions, she sang “I See Red” by Everybody Loves An Outlaw which made all the coaches to turn their chairs, but ultimately she ended up going in her long time idol, Niall Horan’s direction. Her hard work and individualism led her to the semifinals. Nini’s different song choices on the show such as Radiohead’s “Karma Police” and The Cure’s “Lovesong” left the viewers intrigued and wanting to hear more of her authentic original music. Nini Iris’ unique writing and singing style delivers an "old world" charm combined with dark textured overtones, with an aggressive pop edge.
