New Madzilla LV? Go On Then,‘Angel Genocide’ Is a Good Time

I wasn’t planning on paying attention today. Had a couple of drinks, received a link, clicked it ... and suddenly Madzilla LV had my full attention. “Angel Genocide” barrels in, does its thing, and leaves you nodding like, “yeah... that works.” No fuss, no waffle, just a band clearly enjoying themselves while serving up molten stew.
As a lifer metal-head, it’s short enough not to annoy me and solid enough that I didn’t skip it, which honestly says a lot. The chorus turns up, the song ends before it gets boring, and I immediately wanted to hear it again. That’s the test. It passed.
These guys sound rooted in the way that makes you think this band knows exactly where they’re headed — especially with big 2026 tour dates lined up. Feels like the sort of track that’s going to land even harder when it’s
blasted through a venue sound system instead of your laptop speakers.
Anyway, if you like your metal loud and gritty, you should probably give this one a spin. I did, and now I’m refilling my drink and watching it again.
