Mus-D Beatz is the creative project of Denis Musiol, former founding member of the German death metal band Disbelief. Based in Switzerland, he has been releasing music under the name Mus-D Beatz since 2022, combining heavy modern metal with cinematic atmospheres, aggressive synth-driven sound design and dark futuristic aesthetics. Originally emerging from dark pop and electronic influences, Mus-D Beatz has returned to his metal roots with a refined and conceptual artistic vision. His sound blends modern metal, metalcore, djent-inspired heaviness and symphonic textures with emotionally driven songwriting and immersive visual storytelling. Recurring themes in his work include inner conflict, transformation, myth, chaos, doom, spells, the abyss and the rise of madness. Rather than focusing purely on fantasy or horror, his music often explores psychological descent, identity and the confrontation with hidden aspects of the self. The newest release, Underworld Descent, expands this direction even further. Blending brutal modern metal riffs, cyberpunk-inspired atmospheres and cinematic tension, the track explores the descent into the human psyche and the confrontation with inner demons. The release also includes Contradiction Eternal (Faith :: Doubt), a longer and newly updated version of the previous single. His 2026 releases marked a major evolution in sound and artistic identity. Contradiction Eternal, classified by Spotify as Symphonic Metal, merged djent-influenced guitars, cinematic textures and melodic female vocals into a dark exploration of duality, endless cycles and inner contradiction. In 2026, Mus-D Beatz also contributed the remix “Driven by Lust (Of Beast and Velvet)” for the project Incandescent Trance Ritual. The track was described as dark clubbing music, combining heavy electronic energy, cinematic tension and aggressive modern production aesthetics. Key releases include Rise (Marvis Remix), which received radio airplay and playlist support, as well as Into the Doom, Witches’ Spell and Lure of the Abyss, establishing Mus-D Beatz’s dark cinematic universe through crushing low-tuned guitars, haunting atmospheres and ritualistic aesthetics. Mus-D Beatz continues to develop a distinctive fusion of modern heaviness, cinematic storytelling and immersive dystopian aesthetics, creating music that is both emotionally intense and visually atmospheric.
