Mocking Jupiter

Mocking Jupiter is a detailed and dynamic group of four lifelong music addicts from Phoenix, Arizona. Brothers Jesse (guitars, vocals) and Jason (drums) grew up in 90’s suburban Phoenix to the soundtrack of crushing bands like Pantera, Slayer and Fear Factory, adding fuel to the fire of a cynical worldview through the turn of the millenium. Stumbling into adulthood with calloused fingers, busted pawn shop gear, and a passion for nothing outside of music; Jesse attended a renowned luthiery school in Phoenix straight out of high school. After a brief guitar building (and even briefer roadie career) under the name The Illustrated Luthier, he settled back in his hometown of Phoenix. Meanwhile, Jason was finishing his years of honorable service in the Marine Corps and made his back to the valley of the sun. Guided by the allure of haunting self expression, and with support of their families, the band formed and released their first demo in 2023. Through 2024 they’ve released 6 singles in advance of their first album “Aphelion”, set to release in early 2025. A testament to their epithet, Mocking Jupiter continues writing and evolving with heads high and eyes focused on being the best.
