Why Wage War" is a song seeking answers - alternatives to an array of age-old obstacles and blunders that continue shattering the dream of lasting peace. To begin with, how about taking a far more patient, humane approach to resolving conflicts, rather than, say, "bomb first; ask questions later?" While achieving peace and harmony may be a daunting task, consider a recent nine-minute interview on the PBS New Hour with co-authors (one, Israeli; the other, Palestinian) of a new book, "The Future Is Peace" - a conversation broadcast the same day this song's appeal for peace set off on its journey across the world. https://www.pbs.org/video/the-future-is-peace-1777670360/ As one of them puts it during the interview: "We are modeling and manifesting the future by the brotherhood that we have forged together, even though we were destined to be on opposite sides.
