Born in Brest, France, in 1999, MEDIAVOLO crafts music that resonates deeply with its audience, offering an escape through rich harmonies, simple melodies, and an ethereal, aerial ambience. Recording entirely in Jacques' home studio, MEDIAVOLO thrives on authenticity. While Jacques takes the helm as the sole producer, the 2024 album Away Within marked a pivotal moment, featuring contributions from the band’s live musicians. In October 2023, the band experienced a renaissance when their song Mass Anaesthesia went viral on TikTok, ending a decade-long hiatus and rekindling a global fanbase. Fans turn to MEDIAVOLO’s music as a refuge, finding solace and strength during life’s challenges. The band’s commitment to their listeners is reflected in special releases, such as a thank-you EP for the TikTok community that amplified Mass Anaesthesia and a vinyl edition of their 2006 album A Secret Sound.
