Markus Vogt – Honest Music from Real Life Markus Vogt (*1966) discovered his passion for the guitar in 1996. Early performances with a friend in local pubs eventually led to the founding of the acoustic band Acoupack in 2005 – his musical home ever since. The band plays honest, handmade songs that truly mean something to them. In 2020, Markus began writing his own songs to express personal experiences and deeply held beliefs. His lyrics touch on freedom, love, democracy, and social developments – but also on the darker sides of life such as hate, violence, and selfishness. His debut single “Leave Me My Freedom” (2025) marks the beginning of this new path. Markus Vogt writes music that makes life tangible – authentic and full of lived experience.
