An alluring new single from Juliane Viktoria delivers quite a beautiful but edgy soundscape, and this is part of her staple sound as she breathes a lot of honesty in her music but manages to put it together in a way that hits with a little bit of pop overtone and swagger.
"Embarrassment" feels kind of subtle as it never pushes over the top in any sense. The energy level is exactly where it needs to be because it has that personal touch to it, where again, she's spilling a lot of inner thought out there and letting loose to an extent, but it has this gorgeous flow to it at the same time.
Juliane Viktoria has an amazing way of putting little pieces of herself into her music, and I love the way that she does it because her tracks have fewer boundaries than what you may be used to, and I find that refreshing, to be honest.
This is a track that has a dreamy undertone because there's a vastness and expansive ambience that sort of drifts below the surface of the song at all times, but on the forefront, you have a sort of hip-hop style beat that since and keys lean on.
There's something about this track that just pulls you right in and it has an atmosphere that feels like something you would certainly hear on a major radio station these days.
That blend of edginess, pop, R&B, and personality all go hand in hand with this single, and once again, she doesn't really hold much back lyrically, which I think is something more artists should be doing these days.
That character and honesty is a big part of what you get sucked into with this track along with that in alluring vocal approach and smooth flavor that the whole soundscape portrays.
The single gives off the vibe of what you get in the dating scene these days and I'm sure it's different for a lot of people depending on who they are but touching on those annoyances, struggles, and repetitive scenarios, something we can all relate to.
One of the things I dig about this track is that edginess because it almost feels Haunting in a certain sense. There's a darkness to it, and that is part of the theme musically.
The beat is an excellent attribute to this track all around because it leans on hip hop or even trap style, so it brings more of that edginess to the plate, making this, to me, a bit of an alternative-pop - pop single.
This track is one of the more recent releases, and we're no strangers to them as we had the pleasure of reviewing a track called "Not Afraid To Die", also displaying some of that dark or edgy set of textural sounds and layers she manages to pull together.
Juliane is an artist who has surprises around the corners with her releases. You never really know exactly what you're going to get, but you know it's going to have that edginess to it, and it's going to boast plenty of her staple Swagger as well.
Most of all, you're going to have that character or honesty just spilling out everywhere.
These are the things that make our music so addictive.
You can tell there are levels of humor that are woven in and out of this track, and that is also a play on her character, especially in terms of dealing with the tribulations of the dating life.
It feels like she's just annoyed by certain aspects of it and that's completely normal thing if you ask me.
This was a beautifully woven and slightly haunting cinematic alt-pop banger, and it speaks volumes for Juliane as an artist and her ability to produce something that stands out and should be all over the radio waves.
Our vocals are outstanding as those bring that Swagger and attitude to the table, along with very memorable Melodies even in the verses.
Definitely check this track out and while you're at it, dive into some of her previous releases because they're well worth listening to and have these sort of staple elements to them that make her, her.
Check this out right now and remember where you heard it first.
