My name is Jeremy, but friends call me JR. I am a product of the 70's Album-Rock, 80's Pop Rock/Hair-Metal, and the 90's Alt/Grunge Rock epochs. I write, compose and sing all the music and lyrics under my solo studio project, 'JRtheBand' (one word). You'll typically hear both acoustic and electric guitars in my songs. I tend to favor melodic bass lines, and a more progressive rock drumbeat. I tend to write metaphorically about universal events, experiences, and emotions due to both joyous and tragic events in life. Folks have called my material "eclectic" because of the span of musical influences you will hear. All of my songs are available in 3 versions: 1) Acoustic only; 2) Instrumental; and 3) Full Vocals. Since I own the masters for each of my songs, we can also discuss changes to the mix as necessary. I've released 20 songs since 2019 and have accumulated millions of streams across platforms @jrtheband
