Born under the Mediterranean sun, Francesca Pichierri is an alternative pop and indie singer-songwriter who paints stories with sound. Her music, a fusion of soulful Apulian warmth and eccentric international influences, is a journey through poetic and cinematic landscapes and transcends the boundaries of conventional pop. Inspired by her background in both music and human rights, this artist integrates emotional depth and civic engagement into her art. Having served as a vocal coach to numerous artists and participated in various independent projects as a singer and songwriter, including self-releasing two albums and exploring diverse genres such as blues, soul, folk, jazz, funk, and alternative rock, Francesca now steps into the spotlight with her solo career. With a knack for blending poetic lyrics with unconventional sounds and surreal images, and a charming irreverence, this emerging artist has honed her voice into a medium of both power and delicacy—an instrument she shapes to match the essence of her narratives, ensuring every story she tells remains true and authentic. For Francesca, it’s the story and the meaning behind the song that dictate the music direction. Her latest album, "Cellule Stronze", dives deep into the raw emotions of her mother's battle with cancer, transforming personal sorrow into universal resonance. Francesca composed and recorded the album in her childhood bedroom, arranging and producing the tracks in collaboration with Italian producer and musician Stefano Iuso. This album is not just a collection of songs, it’s a heartfelt journey through grief, resilience, and hope which underscore Francesca’s ability to transform life’s most profound experiences into compelling art.
