From the very first strum in the early '80s, F.Pozzy has carved out a unique space in the music scene as a prolific singer and multi-instrumentalist. Launching his career with the creation of Pozzy Records in 1981, he established a clear vision that would guide his professional journey: “It is not important to sell records, but to sell emotions”. This philosophy has been a cornerstone of his label and personal ethos, driving him to pursue a path marked by authenticity rather than commercial viability. Even as a young artist, F.Pozzy was presented with opportunities that promised a brilliant, albeit conventional, career trajectory. However, he chose to eschew these paths in favor of following his musical instincts, without compromise. His decision to prioritize artistic integrity over potential profits has defined his career, setting him apart as a true outsider in the music scene. An ardent follower of rock's revered icons like The Eagles, Poco, and The Byrds, Pozzy's early explorations were rooted in the genre he loved, gradually evolving to encompass a broader spectrum including classic rock, pop, funk, and disco rock. His dedication to his craft and his unique approach have led to collaborations with some of Northern Italy’s finest musicians and solo works that reflect his evolving artistic narrative. Throughout the '90s, F.Pozzy thrived with the P.N. Band, which he formed with guitarist Fabio Nicolich, marking a period of prolific output that continued into collaborations with Michele Gentilini in the 2000s. His discography is peppered with notable releases like the single "Keep on Trying" and albums that reflect his evolving artistic journey. The release of I Was Alone in 2020, penned during the quiet introspection of lockdown, showcased a personal narrative, while Living in Venice in 2021 celebrated his wedding with romantic flair. His recent work, including Legacy in 2023, stands as a testament to his mastery and the culmination of years of honed craft, with tracks like "I Don’t Wanna Be Alone" and "Now You Are Mine" achieving global recognition. F.Pozzy’s music reminds us that passion has no age. As he once put it, he is "your favorite outsider", a testament to his commitment to authenticity over popularity. His message resonates through his lyrics and melodies, continuing to inspire and evoke emotions as he moves into the sessions for his next album in 2024 ("The way you feel"). In an era where fleeting trends often dictate the musical landscape, F.Pozzy remains a steadfast pioneer, continually proving that true musical passion is timeless.
