Eric Mann

Eric Mann is an American singer-songwriter making dark, cinematic country-folk rooted in outlaw country, Western soundtrack music, and plainspoken storytelling. His songs often focus on people caught inside systems larger than themselves—immigration, family, belief, violence, estrangement—while resisting easy heroes, villains, or answers. Drawing on influences including Townes Van Zandt, Johnny Cash, Ennio Morricone, and Neil Young, Mann pairs an understated vocal with spare Americana arrangements. His recent work, including “Taken” and “Guanajuato,” is part of a forthcoming album built around empathy, moral uncertainty, and the human consequences of political and social fracture. The songs are recorded with Nashville musicians and finished with vocals and mixing in Brooklyn, with an emphasis on narrative clarity, atmosphere, and emotional restraint.
