Elizabeth Naccarato Release The Salonnières Album

ree

A breathtaking album release from Elizabeth Naccarato portrays fresh renditions of classic pieces of music, ranging from Mozart to Mendelssohn, Chopin, and Brahms, along with pieces of her own.

The Salonnieres album displays Elizabeth's incredible talent as a pianist. Her dynamic range and approach give life to the instrument, and the performances speak for themselves throughout the entire album.

As she gives her renditions of incredible pieces by well-known classical composers, she puts some original compositions into the mix, and this is where I think the record takes even more shape.

If you were a fan of Felix Mendelssohn or even Frederic Chopin, you may know some of the pieces that she performs throughout this album. It's her original compositions that also give a different light to the record, and these pieces of music display such virtuosity in performing on the instrument, along with a great range of emotion that seems to blend a more contemporary or updated approach with that very classical style.

Being able to combine the contemporary with the classical is a really incredible feat simply because not only is she able to naturally just write these incredible compositions on her own, but she always seems to beckon those inspiring composers even in her original pieces.

"The Kiss" is a composition by Elizabeth that speaks volumes for her knack for writing original compositions. This is a beautiful piece that absolutely displays how she doesn't hold anything back when performing or composing.

Again, this also showcases some of the inspirations that she holds dear, along with her originality and ability to create emotional pieces that boast an atmosphere. As the record unfolds, you get so much robustness and intensity during performances, along with slow and melodic soundscapes that wrap themselves around you.

Throughout the course of the album, there are about five original compositions from Elizabeth.

They are scattered about throughout the record, boasting Schumann, Mozart, and more.

I've always loved Chopin as a composer, and my parents grew up listening to a lot of those records when I was a kid, so hearing new renditions of some of those pieces was brilliant.

You can tell she holds a lot of those composers and pieces of music close to her, and as a performer, she's completely unstoppable. She has an unbelievable dynamic approach to breathing life into these pieces of music, and I think it's very interesting because she is really doing it so that others can learn more about those classical composers as well.

She is sort of aiming this towards a younger generation, and I think that's something that needs to be done, but it's really difficult to do unless you're someone like Elizabeth, who is actually able to perform these pieces, record them, and also incorporate more contemporary originals in the mix.

This is a robust release with 15 songs and spanning just about an hour in length.

There's plenty to soak in here. She closes the record with an original piece of hers called "The Poet Speaks", which comes through feeling warm and almost inviting, still with that emotional backbone, but with an elegance in performance, and it's got a sort of welcoming tonality to it.

This is an album you listen to with headphones on so you can really soak it all in.

Even if you've only heard of the names of some of these composers but haven't actually listened to them before knowingly, you should absolutely dive headfirst into this release.

Gorgeous and engulfing performances that take hold of all the emotional intensity and balance, along with passion and love for the craft and the instrument, all make this release special.

So, take a deep dive into this one and remember where you heard it first.
