Current members: Dave Gilbert, Kurt Reynolds, Charlie Thomason, Stefan Brafford, Scott Gibson. Echo’s Aim started in 2005 with founding members Kurt Reynolds and Dave Gilbert. The band was initially active in the Louisville, KY area from 2005 - 2007. The band lineup consisted of Kurt Reynolds (guitar/songwriter), Dave Gilbert (lead vocals/songwriter), Brandon Hogan (guitar), Travis Dykstra (bass) and Joey Coulter (drums). During that time they played at many of the top venues in Louisville and the surrounding area. The band picked back up in 2018 with a few new members Charlie Thomason (guitar/songwriter) and Stefan Brafford (bass). Since 2018 the band continues to play live and write new material. Echo’s Aim’s roots are in alternative rock while also creating some sounds that venture on the heavier side and some that delve more into a pop-rock feel. They have a number of influences including Stone Temple Pilots, Seether, Nirvana, Oasis, Korn, Metallica, Alice in Chains, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
