Down for Life is a metal band formed in Solo, Indonesia, at the end of 1999. Over the years, they have evolved into one of Indonesia's most respected heavy music acts. With three albums and several singles under their belt, many of which have been recognized as among the best by Rolling Stone Indonesia, Tempo Magazine, and the AMI Awards, Down for Life has made a significant mark on the Indonesian music scene. The band has toured extensively across Indonesia and internationally, performing at various underground gigs and prestigious events such as Wacken Open Air in Germany, one of the world's largest heavy metal festivals. Despite several lineup changes, the band decided to become a collective, now consisting of eight members. Their success is supported by a strong fanbase known as Pasukan Babi Neraka and a dedicated work team called Hell Crew, helping the band maintain its momentum and continue waving the flag of Indonesian metal.
