DemonScar is a three-piece heavy rock band formed in the late 90s under the name Tangent. The group is based in the United States and consists of Nick (NZA) Graystone on bass and vocals, Meds on lead guitar, and Jarrad “5” Cents on drums. The band's music is characterized by its heavy riffs, thundering bass lines, and powerful vocals. They draw inspiration from classic heavy metal bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, as well as more modern bands like Mastodon and Lamb of God. DemonScar has released several albums and EPs over the years, including their self-titled album in 2017, which was well-received by critics and fans alike. They have since released "Built to Crash" in 2019, “DSXX" in 2020, and “The Whisky Bootleg” live album in 2023. The band has gained a reputation for their high-energy live shows, which feature impressive musicianship and a strong stage presence. They have performed throughout the United States and have shared the stage with many notable bands in the metal and punk scenes. DemonScar continues to be an active force in the metal punk universe, with plans for future releases, festivals, and movies.
