Delilah Rose sounds like big hair and velvet flares and has been described as “70’s style bluesy burlesque swamprock.”
She is a neuro-divergent songwriter, doodler, mama of two small humans, gatherer of creatives, eternal optimist, keen listener, storyteller, bold performer, and avid tea drinker. She’s been playing music since she was 21, has won a bunch of awards and played a bunch of shows and festivals on either side of the country.
Her debut record Moxie earned her a nomination for Best Country Act (WAM Awards) and her single Thin Black Line reached #1 on the AMRAP charts.
She runs The Song Café (Brisbane), a monthly event showcasing Women, First Nations and Non-Binary songwriters and an online club called the Crap Song Club (for serial procrastinators and recovering perfectionists) plus runs songwriting retreats under Australian Songwriting Retreats.
In July 2023, she moved from Boorloo/Perth and now resides in Meanjin/Brisbane with her family, Duke the Dog and Frank the Cat.

“...addictive brand of groove-laden sounds that are bringing the best aspects of 70s rock kicking and screaming into 2022.” Pilerats
