Bozshena

Singer, Composer, Songwriter, and Poet This is what the media writes about my music: "Masterfully balances experimentation with sound while preserving the captivating intimacy of performances. In these stripped-back arrangements, the word reigns supreme, weaving a spellbinding connection with her audience. Her original love lyrics capture the fragile essence of true femininity, pairing unfiltered language with the graceful clarity of simple truths. Like alchemical formulas of feminine allure, her songs reveal a bare, unguarded core, seamlessly entwined with modern imagery". Bozshena Kostromska is a Ukrainian singer, composer, and songwriter known for performing her own original music. She is also the author of two poetry collections: Not for Everyone (2007) and the MOON (2019). Bozshena has penned hits for prominent artists and has been immersed in creativity since birth. Born in Kyiv to a family of artists, her father was a performer with the National Circus of Ukraine, later becoming a director and music video producer, while her mother was a singer at the National Opera of Ukraine. At the age of 9, Bozhena toured France for two months with the “Yunist” ensemble. She recalls writing her first poem during this formative time. She graduated from Kyiv Children’s Music School No. 31 and took part in the 1998 Chornomorski Ihry (Black Sea Games), an experience that further fueled her artistic journey.
