Ava Claire is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter whose emotionally honest songwriting and genre-blurring sound have quickly established her as one of the city's most compelling emerging artists. Recently recognized by Billboard in its A Look At The New Acts For Q3, Q4 feature as "sonically unpredictable," Ava pairs vivid storytelling with deeply personal lyricism, drawing inspiration from writers like Jason Isbell and Phoebe Bridgers alongside the melodic instincts of Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. Ava began writing songs at just eight years old, transforming childhood poems into lyrics before teaching herself guitar through YouTube. At 11, she made her MusicRow debut at Nashville's legendary Bobby's Idle Hour, marking the beginning of a career rooted in authentic storytelling. Her talent has since earned her a trip to Hollywood Week on American Idol after receiving three "yeses" from the judges, as well as selection as one of only 11 students nationwide for the prestigious GRAMMY Camp Songwriter Track. Now studying songwriting at Belmont University, she continues to refine her craft while performing regularly at iconic Nashville venues including The Bluebird Cafe and The Listening Room Cafe. Written entirely by Ava and produced by Eric Arjes, her debut EP, Honestly, showcases her signature blend of emotional vulnerability, sharp lyricism, and expansive production.
