A fresh release from Sú North brings out a colorful blend of classic and new school hip-hop vibes and does it all with enough character to turn heads and grab your attention along with a knack for presenting this particular brightness that sort of draws you in and keeps you right where it wants to.
"Yellow" has a wonderful way of creeping up on you and getting your head bobbing with the groove while you pay attention to the unique lyrical phrasing and lushness the song gives.

Buzz Slayers: Okay, let's start with " Yellow''! This song has a refreshing production and an immense pop feel! How did this track come about?
“The track was created out of the joy self-love brings, the joy I have for others I love, and the joy of other people loving me,” he shares. “Yellow is a color associated with the sun. It symbolizes optimism, energy, joy, happiness and friendship.”
Buzz Slayers: How did this all start for you as an artist? When did you fall in love with music?
I fell in love with music at an early age. One of my favorite memories of my music journey is playing the drums with my other musician friends in the church for hours learning and covering different songs. Coldplay, James Brown, and Michael Jackson were some of our favorite artists to cover.
Buzz Slayers: What kind of things really inspire songs for you?
Self-love, learning, and community are some of the themes that inspire me to write and produce my songs. I realized at an early age that music is a tool that brings people together and forms powerful connections.
Buzz Slayers: This single has some great styles on it! Can you give us some of your biggest influences musically?
Outside of music, I am cinematographer. As a cinematographer and creative director, I bring a unique perspective to musicianship, understanding the importance of marrying visuals and sonics for a full artistic experience that is immersive and captivating. Some of my biggest influences are Donald Glover (Childish Gambino), Kendrick Lamar, Andre 3000 and of course Coldplay.
Buzz Slayers: What are you doing when you're NOT working on music?
When I’m not making music, I am filming / directing music videos for other artists, writing screenplays, and drinking tea.

Buzz Slayers: Did you record yourself or hit a big studio for this?
I have an in-home studio where I record and write my music.
Buzz Slayers: What can your fans expect from you in the near future?
My fans can expect more music in the next couple months. I just finished up a record with this amazing artist from the Bay Area, California named Jada Imani, she is so dope and inspiring to the community. The way she approaches her artistry should be studied, seriously. I'm really proud of this record we did.
