A fresh release from Andrei British delivers a very blues-rock and alternative-oriented soundscape that comes through almost like a space rock opera, and the entire thing boasts addictive and soulful riffs, along with bountiful, powerhouse style vocals that give the rock edginess and overtone, adding to the character along with the story that's delivered throughout the track.
"Ride To Europa (Female Version)" is an absolute banger and pulls you right in with that riff just at the start of the song.
The great thing about the guitar tone is that it has a bit of crunch to it. It's not overly distorted, but it has that driving rock backbone and certainly puts that edginess to the track, while still having that blues rock feel throughout it all.
The guitars make this song alive and breathing. It is the heart and soul of the track, even though the vocals are very in your face and have quite an impact.
Now, the reason this feels almost like a rock opera to me is because of the premise of the song and how it blends getting into a space suit and going out into the unknown, looking at the beautiful views of the moon from up close, and traveling through the stars, with the sentiment of rocking out.
The way it blends the fantastical and fiction with what's actually happening is brilliant, and this again is why it feels kind of like a rock opera.
One thing that really hits hard is the energy level. This track has such an infectious energy, and it really gets your blood pumping.
The drums are completely driving, and strangely, the song gives off the essence of a live performance, in a sense.
It's got a particular Sonic presence to it that is very full-bodied, even though the song is straight-up rock.
There are some great bridges and breakdown sections with stopping kick drums and high hats, adding builds and certain kinds of calm before the storm, and some of those final choruses are just absolutely massive.
They both have layers upon layers of great textures from the guitars to the vocal tracks, and everything has a great punch to it.
It's an amazing combination of color and edginess. It's got that punch, but it's also very melodically driving, and again, the guitars have this kind of bluesy rock riff a lot of the time, and the vocals are always just oozing with soul.
The vocalist on this track really belts when she wants to. She's also excellent and harmonizing, and uses her vocals as backing instruments at certain points of the song.
I can't get away from this sort of space fiction aspect that the whole thing boasts. It's so much fun because it takes you on a bit of a journey. The whole song is kind of like a rock escape, and it pulls you away from wherever you are and whatever you're doing and puts you in this different place for a little chunk of time.
Towards the end of the song, you have some great guitar work in the form of melodic and again, pretty soulful lead work.
All these different aspects of the song let you know that there was a lot of attention paid to the arrangement and the composition of how this would all come together.
Andrei is obviously someone who thinks ahead. There's a clear plan at play, and hopefully, these songs come to fruition as close as possible to the ideas that were in his head.
This is a track that has a thick cinematic backbone. Not in the normal sense, but in the sentiment and premise. This blends incredibly with the powerful rock overtones and sort of futuristic approach.
You can hear certain kinds of influence coming from film and cinema in general in this song.
All in all, this was a boisterous, fun, storyline-driven, character-riddled, and detailed rock banger that was portrayed and performed with loads of heart and soul, along with that edgy and hard-hitting tonality that, in combination, make for something very memorable.
Absolutely killer single.
Upon listening to this, I knew I had to speak with Andrei about where it came from, how we put these together, what his influences actually are, and what's coming up next.
So, while you listen to this track, have a read through of our interview with the artist below and remember where you heard it all first.
Where did this track come from?Â
I am a big fan of Space exploration and NASA Europa Clipper mission is very exciting. On top of this a lot of SciFi works refer to Europa as major future hub for humanity. It is my original Lyrics and music. I prefer to combine music with imaginative cinematic experience.
I'm hearing a few different approaches to this single! Who are some of your biggest musical influences?
Mostly 70s rock, I am big fan of Aerosmith, and a huge fan of Rock-n-Roll, working on potential Rock-n-Roll version for Ride to Europa
Did you record this at a home setup, or at a big studio?
Studio, I have a good friend musician
Did you and Alex Van True write this together?
No, but he did a great job putting on the map with his great voice. Don't forget Female version featuring Silke, she has a great voice for this song:Â

We are Rocking
How did this all start for you as an artist?
It all started with a simple frustration, actually. I was tired of searching for existing music that perfectly matched the specific cinematic, space-themed vision I had in my head. I decided, 'You know what? I'm going to create exactly what I want to listen to.'
My creative process begins with the storytelling—I write the lyrics and concepts. From there, I work closely with my production team to bring the soundscape to life. It's a collaborative approach to ensure the final product is a 100% genuine reflection of my artistic vision from start to finish
Are you performing live right now?Â
No
Now that this is out, what's next for you?
Working on a couple of songs: Pure Digital Love, plan to release in February, and Florida Girls after that
Who's in your headphones right now?
I like to listen to people I work with, my singers, who bring my songs to life, nothing can replace this excitement when a good artist sings your song and you like it .
What would you tell people they can expect on this release?
I would like people from NASA and SpaceX to hear this song, that's about their work.
Before we go, what would you like to express to fans of the music?Â
I appreciate all likes and comments and I am doing it so that people who have the same taste like me can enjoy it, and my future songs. Some of them like minded people will love, especially Star Wars fans and space exploration enthusiasts. If I can bring pleasure with my songs to people, that is a real reward!
