The founding members of Alaska Blue met in 2018, northern Italy raised Elisabetta and self-taught guitarist Davide met by chance in a piano class; shortly after began performing as street artists in several cities all over Italy. In 2019 they collected all the songs written during their trips and started to perform as an acoustic duo calling themself Alaska Blue. 2022 was a crucial year for Alaska Blue who released On November 22nd their debut album "Under the weather" : a collection of 8 sweet and elusive songs characterized by mellow atmospheres, an acoustic taste, soulful vocals and enveloping melodies. The introspective lyrics delve into individual fears and struggle within societal frameworks, examining the human condition with a keen eye. Worth mentioning is "Blue shelter" the 4th track of the album that has a more refined and experimental sound thanks to the artist Francesco Roncalli who produced the song. In the same year Marcello and Gabriele joined Alaska Blue transforming the duo into a full-fledged band, infusing their music with a groovy and richer sound. Concurrently with summer 2023 Alaska Blue European tour, the band is releasing on July 21 "Salinity" an Ep composed by 4 songs with bittersweet- summery vibe.
