A new release from Loud Tiger just dropped, and the track boasts such a beautiful spirit, and behind it, there is a powerful element to it all that helps it stand tall and becomes quickly invigorating, especially at that chorus.
"Cactus" is a track that feels good to listen to because it feels like it's about dusting yourself off, standing up, and going out to live life to the fullest. It's a positive and reinforcing statement for anyone who needs a push, and it comes through with a brightness and some beautiful color along with massive amounts of personality, which is one of the things you end up really latching on to.
The single walks a line between a pop-coated single and an acoustic, almost Americana style undertone, which is just given with hints here and there throughout the track.
It is severely danceable and again, very invigorating and addictive to listen to because you feel that energy she gives off in your bones.
As I mentioned before, it's the personality and character behind the track that you end up getting attached to the most, and I feel like that's a big part of the sentiment for the song itself.
It's not just for her, it's for others as well. You're supposed to listen to this song and feel good.
You have acoustic and electric guitars, and this bopping Baseline that feels almost classic or vintage.
The aesthetic of this song is vibrant, and her presence as an artist really thrives on this single in particular.
Now, as far as we can tell,"Cactus" is a glimpse into a new and upcoming album and if it's anything like this track is, it's going to be robust, fun, deepening, cinematic, and I feel like there's going to be songs that are very approachable, a little bit vulnerable, and purely danceable as well.
I can tell all of this from this one single. This track encompasses a slew of influences and, in doing so, breeds a sound that feels like it's its own thing.
You have that pop overcoat but you will also have elements of R&B, Americana, acoustic pop, and more that's all rolled into this one song so you can tell that if she is able to take all of those elements and bring it into one Singular track, then imagine the amount of these elements she can bring into an entire album.
Loud Tiger is the alias of songwriter and performer Viktoria Siff, who has written songs for the likes of Macy Gray, Alicia Keys, and more.
This is her project, and with the release of "Cactus", I'm definitely looking forward to hearing more.
This track delivers a soundscape that you dive right into and you can tell that it comes from someplace authentic. There's a lot of honesty on this song lyrically, and she's able to articulate that into something that still has this great catchiness to it.
We don't know too much about the new album except that it is set to release this autumn, and this will be the third Loud Tiger album to be dropped.
This was an alluring banger of a single that showcases a lot of different sides to her songwriting, artistry, and personality all in one.
This is an artist who puts pieces of herself into her music, and I think that the album itself will serve as chapters in her life.
Definitely check this out as soon as you can, and don't be afraid to turn it up because it feels even better that way.
Remember where you heard it first.
