A. HerrMann

A.HerrMann lives on the Baltic Sea in Timmendorfer Strand and tells stories - about himself and from life. He has been making music since he was 16, comes from Lübeck and was of course influenced in his youth by this wonderful city with Travemünde and its small Priwall peninsula on the Baltic Sea. It was especially the proximity to the sea and the intense people on the coast that brought A.HerrMann back again and again, back to his Baltic Sea, which is always there - sometimes choppy but rarely angry. A few weeks ago, A.HerrMann released his first album. It's called "Songs of Life - Eight to Nine Honest Songs". A.HerrMann is the interpreter, composer and lyricist All songs have been arranged in a somewhat special style. Not mainstream, maybe that's why they're so consistent. You can feel that the music here is handmade and not a note was written by a computer. In total, the album took 1.5 years to work on. A.HerrMann: “I think all the melodies were in my head for a long time and the lyrics were suddenly written by me. Just like that. Sometimes music is magical.” But real songs only emerged through collaboration with and through the arrangement of Kai Beller. He knew what sound and what instruments and musicians were needed to really make it all work. And the mastering mix by Marius Evan really brought the songs forward again. It's like always in life: "You have to know good people...!" The LP (vinyl of course) is now available and can be purchased directly from the artist.
