A Driving and Fiery Alt-Rock Single from NOAPOLOGY

A new single release from NOAPOLOGY hits with a vast alternative rock tonality and does so with an edgy drive and attitude that come through with a robust and lush character which is one of the biggest things that you end up holding on to but the track itself has such a massive atmosphere and almost anthemic undertone, that it wakes you right up.

"Defenseless" definitely has its heavier moments with fierce and fiery riffs along with pounding drums and the whole thing has this element of almost late 90s early 2000s underground alternative rock vibe to it that blends elements of grunge, metal, and even a hint of Hardcore at times.

One of the things I love about this track is how heavy it is but how full-bodied and Soulful the vocals are as the vocalist really just belts out at the top of her lungs and rips through this track.

This was absolutely sonically huge, and it hit like a sucker punch to the gut and the best ways possible.

This combination of textures with a super heavy track and these passionate and beautiful vocals that still show that edginess and slightly aggressive approach, is a beautiful thing because the whole track has this almost cinematically vast feel to it where it's got a certain kind of atmosphere and it's very easy to fall right into it.

The energy on this track is one of the things that hits the hardest because it's almost like it was recorded live on the floor where the players are just feeding off of each other the entire time and this gives the song this feeling of being alive and breathing in a way and this helps the song really have the drive to push it exactly where it needed to be.

Now, even if I'm wrong about the whole recording live thing, which I probably am, listening to this track makes you want to see this performed live simply because if the energy is captured on record this way and this well, then seeing it live must be amazing.

This track has a huge thing going for it and that is character and persona.

The song comes from someplace real and the whole thing has an aesthetic to it that makes me think of certain kinds of tracks I listened to growing up, and this is the real deal, genuine, alternative rock that takes elements of some of the best subgenres and the best bands that influence them and puts them into one banger of a single.

Just having that little element of nostalgia for me was everything and it goes to show you that if you're not paying close enough attention, you are missing out on some of the best heavy rock bands to come out of other countries.

NOAPOLOGY is a Ukraine-based band that's already been Making Waves since 2022 and I'm not surprised at that after hearing this track.

This is a song you want to turn nice and Loud because the louder you do it the more intense and cats and believe me, this track has its own level of intensity.

After that, I would suggest you go through the other singles released in the past couple of years because they show a little bit of a different side to the band's songwriting and approach but still have that same amazing heavy aesthetic.

Check this truck out as soon as you can and remember where you heard it first.
