KOTA!

Kota Wade is an artist/writer/performer based out of Southern California who turned 3 chairs on NBC's The Voice. She’s been playing with bands and as a solo artist her whole life, and is venturing out with a fresh new project expressing every side of KOTA! The dynamic and genre-defying artist known for her infectious blend of rock-pop fusion is excited to share her new single “Killin It," an anthem of strength and resilience in the face of life's challenges that resonates with authenticity and power. KOTA! shares, "The tag line, 'I’m killin’ it,' seemed like the perfect power lyric to show off the strength we all have inside. This song is for all of us who have been pushed down by society, and I hope it’ll especially be a girl power anthem!" Produced by UK's Asa Bennett, the track combines heavy riffs, catchy pop melodies, and anthemic rock energy, reminiscent of influences like No Doubt and Nirvana. Known for her distinctive fashion sense and vibrant persona, KOTA! infuses her music with a mix of girly and grunge aesthetics, drawing inspiration from icons like Gwen Stefani and Alexander McQueen. Her recently released single "Dead Pretty" encapsulates her vibrant persona with the line, “Everything is better with some glitter on your face.” BUSTLE.COM "Like Gwen Stefani, the No Doubt frontwoman, Kota's known for her incredible singing chops and her eclectic, cool-girl wardrobe." BLAKE SHELTON “Kota, you’re like a modern-day Cyndi Lauper. Your voice just made me smile. That was unbelievable, blew the roof off this place.” RIANNA “Kota is a little firecracker. She’s one of the most comfortable people on stage here at The Voice.” BILLBOARD "Wade gave an incredibly fiery performance that showed she can handle a huge rock song.” ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY “You’ll never be bored by a Kota Wade performance...”
