With an ever deepening ambience comes the neo-western Cast Iron Drove album by Some Dad. Seeping with bells and fuzzy guitar hooks, distanced vocals the record does play out almost like listening to a post modern old western film. Melty harmonizing vocals and plucky bass lines along with bells and keys filling the atmosphere, this one has a lot to take in. It's perfect especially for something like a long drive. Beautiful backing vocal melodies spun throughout its course and most of the time its hard not to feel like you are actually in a film of some type. Very cool record with very little boundaries. Well done.
